Annaleigh Ashford is an American actress with a very versatile resume! Born in Denver, Colorado, and raised by a single mom, Annaleigh began acting on stage as a child and was named “The Teen to Watch” by the Rocky Mountain News. She graduated high school early and attended Marymount Manhattan College, where she earned her theater degree in just three years by age 19. Then Annaleigh did was all starry-eyed girls do — she headed to New York City! After landing in the Big Apple, she made performance art with DJ Lady Starlight (one of Lady Gaga‘s early collaborators) and took on roles in hit Broadway productions such as Kinky Boots (2013), Wicked (2007), Legally Blonde (2007), and Hair (2010). Despite her childlike and whimsical nature, Annaleigh decided to show a far more adult side to her talent when cast in the recurring role in season one of Showtime’s Masters of Sex (2013). With two names in one, Annaleigh can really do it all! She played a young sex worker named Betty Dimello, and by season 2, she was upgraded to a regular cast member. We wonder if that had something to do with her character’s lesbian lip lock, her lingerie scenes, or that moment in the pilot when she had electrodes all over her firm little breasts!
